Why we built it
Estate planning shouldn't require a retainer.
When a parent passes, their kids inherit two things at once: grief, and a scavenger hunt. Where's the will? Who's the executor? Which bank? What account numbers? Was that policy paid up? Did mom remember to update the beneficiary after the divorce?
Most of the existing answers to that problem cost money — a thousand dollars with an attorney, a few hundred a year for a "family operating system" that stores your documents on someone else's servers. The families who can afford it get organized. The families who can't get the scavenger hunt.
We thought there should be a third option: a tool that's technically free because the architecture genuinely doesn't cost anything to run. Your vault lives encrypted on your device. The will template generates client-side. The Drive backup uses your Drive, not ours. There's no per-user cost for us, so there's no per-user fee for you.
That's it. That's the whole pitch.

Zero-custody by default
If we don't have your data, we can't lose it, sell it, or be forced to hand it over. The architecture is the privacy policy.
Family-first, not finance-first
Estate planning is about people, not portfolios. We talk to families the way a trusted friend would, not the way a brokerage statement does.
Honest about gaps
If a competitor has something we don't, we'll tell you on our comparison page. We'd rather be accurate than persuasive.
Free where free is honest
Free tier costs ~$0 to provide because it's client-side. Paid tiers exist only when cloud infra costs us real money. No fake free trials.
